Police on Saturday arrested a man after a chase starting at the local Jack In The Box restaurant, according to the Hollister Police Department.
At about 2:15 a.m. Saturday, police received a report of a man inside the Jack In The Box, 391 McCray St., with a gun or knife hidden in a waistband, according to the statement from police.
The suspect, Timothy Valencia, 28, took off running. Police gave chase and apprehended him in a back yard in the 100 block of Fourth Street, with the help of a K9 that bit the suspect.
Police recovered a knife from Valencia, who had a warrant out for his arrest, according to the HPD. He was treated and released from Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police then booked him at the San Benito County Jail.
