CAR THEFT:
Unknown suspects stole a white 1992 Plymouth Voyager van from the 1300 block of Westside Blvd. in Hollister sometime between Friday and Saturday, police said.
BURGLARY:
Unknown suspects broke into a pick-up truck in the 500 block of San Benito Street in Hollister sometime between Friday and Saturday and stole a subwoofer, digital camera, radar detector and other miscellaneous items totaling about $2,450, police said.
Unknown suspects broke into a car in the 800 block of Apricot Lane in Hollister around 2am on Sunday and stole credit cards and miscellaneous paperwork, including bank and credit card statements, police said.
Unknown suspects broke in a car in the 800 block of Apricot Lane in Hollister sometime between Saturday and Sunday and stole a $59 stereo, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY:
John Wolgamott, 49, a transient, was arrested by Hollister police for domestic battery, a misdemeanor, at 3:33pm on Highway 25 at San Felipe Road after he allegedly slapped a female in the face, police said.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Maria Betancourt, 70, of San Jose, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Highway 25 south of Shore Road at 2:38am on Sunday, police said.
Steven Charles Wallin, 44, who lives in the 2100 block of Glarner Street in Hollister, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of .13, a misdemeanor, at Southside Road at Union Road at 11:16pm on Thursday, police said.
Anthony Leroy Mattheus, 61, who lives in the 1800 block of Sunset Drive in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of .11, a misdemeanor, on Highway 156 west of Highway 25 at 11:02pm on Thursday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
