DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:

Jesse Alfonso Reyna, 51, of 60 Acacia Ct. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence of prescription drugs, a misdemeanor, at Third and San Benito streets at 2:12pm on Thursday, police said.

Yolette Lujan, 35, of 1020 Powell St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 500 block of Monterey Street at 2:33am on Friday, police said.

Steven Loza, 28, of 1510 Valley View Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and battery to a police officer, all misdemeanors, in the 900 block of Sunnyslope Road at 2:41am on Saturday, police said. When police pulled Loza over he allegedly pushed one of the officers before being taken into custody, police said.

Jose Cervantes Zaragoza, 25, of Salinas, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and driving without a license, misdemeanors, at Fairview and Lone Tree roads at 10:51pm on Saturday, police said.

CAR THEFT:

Marissa Carballo, 21, of 222 Willow Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 9:39pm in the 2400 block of Valley View Road on Friday for car theft, a felony, after she took the car of someone she knew without their permission, police said.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Cesar Ruiz, 29, of 1450 Gabilan Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 1400 block of Gabilan Drive at 1:15am on Saturday for domestic violence, a felony, after he allegedly pushed a female he has a relationship with against a wall and punched her in the face, police said.

ASSAULT WITH A

DEADLY WEAPON:

Ricardo Cobian, 28, of 41 Rustic St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 40 block of Rustic Street at 1:28pm on Saturday for assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, police said. After a dispute with a neighbor escalated, Cobian allegedly punched the victim and kicked him three times after he fell to the ground, police said. The victim was taken to Hazel Hawkins Hospital, police said.

POSSESSION OF

DRUGS FOR SALE:

Christina Espinoza, 24, of 29 Hawkins St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of 1.72 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a scale, a felony, in the 700 block of Central Avenue at 8:47pm on Saturday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
