PASSING FAKE MONEY:

Heriberto Saez, 61, of 1171 Cosco Ct. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for trying to deposit three fake $20 at Community Bank on Tres Pinos Road, a misdemeanor, at 10:20am on Monday, police said.

GRAND THEFT:

Unknown suspects stole $500 worth of stereo equipment out of an unlocked car in the 800 block of B Street sometime between Sunday and Monday, police said.

THREATS:

Mark Silva, 26, of 1881 Highland Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 400 block of Tres Pinos Road at 2:36pm on Monday for threatening to kill a 25-year-old Hollister male, a felony, after an ongoing dispute escalated, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects stole $50 in quarters and the tops of washers and dryers from a laundry room in an apartment complex in the 700 block of Nash Road sometime between Dec. 28 and Dec. 31, but the incident wasn’t reported to police until Monday at 4pm, police said.

VEHICLE THEFT:

Unknown suspects stole a black 1998 Ford Expedition from the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Gonzalez Drive in Hollister around 8:15pm on Monday, after the owner left the car running, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
