THREATENING A POLICE OFFICER:

Jesse Tapia Serna, 41, of 700 Del Mar Dr. in Hollister, was arrested for threatening an officer, a felony, after he went to the home of an off-duty California Highway Patrol officer who had arrested him in the past and said he was “going to get him,” police said. Serna was arrested at 11:28am on Thursday – two days after he made the threat – at his home, police said.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY:

Wesley Murray, 22, of San Jose, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of stolen checks and a stolen driver’s license, a felony, and for giving a false name to the officer, a misdemeanor, in the 200 block of McCray Street at 9:50am on Thursday, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects broke into a home in the 100 block of Peartree Lane in Hollister Wednesday by forcing open a window, and stole $500 in cash and video games, police said. The burglary was reported to police at 11:55am on Thursday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
