VEHICLE THEFT:

Unknown suspects stole a gray 2001 Toyota Corolla from the 200 block of Graf Road in Hollister sometime between Sunday at 10pm and Monday at 8:30am, police said.

BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects broke into the laundry room of a housing complex in the 900 block of Palm Court in Hollister and stole $200 in coins from washers and dryers sometime between midnight on Saturday and noon on Sunday, police said.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Robert Joseph Ahlin, 56, of 2980 Airline Highway in Hollister, was arrested at his home by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies for assault with a deadly weapon, damaging a phone line, domestic violence and being a felon in possession of guns, all felonies, at 11:09am on Friday, police said. Ahlin allegedly struck a woman he has a relationship with with his car, knocked her down and then put the car in reverse and ran over her left foot, police said. He pulled the phone out of the wall when she attempted to call 911 and had several guns at his residence that he was not allowed to have because he is a felon, police said. The woman’s brother took her to the hospital, but police did not know the extent of her injuries.

Michael Edward Vance, 44, of 900 Anzar Rd. in San Juan Bautista, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for domestic violence, a felony, at his residence at 1:08pm on Sunday after he allegedly pulled the hair of a woman he has a relationship with, police said.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC:

Dave Scott Hogeman, 21, of 7786 Lovers Lane in Hollister, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, in the 2000 block of Airline Highway at 12:45am on Sunday, police said.

DRUGS FOR SALE:

Cynthia Castaneda, 50 and Vince Castaneda, 26, of 801 Marentis Ct. in San Juan Bautista, were arrested by sheriff’s deputies for possession of suspected methamphetamine for sale, possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, all felonies, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, at their home at 4:40pm on Sunday, police said. The suspects had baggies filled with suspected methamphetamine, OxyContin tablets, empty plastic baggies and marijuana at their home, police said. They also had several bicycles in their garage deputies suspect were stolen, police said.

Joseph Gomez, 24, of 742 Fourth St. in Hollister, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for possession of suspected methamphetamine for sale, possession of marijuana for sale and possession of an illegal knife, all felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of pills without a prescription, misdemeanors, on Highway 156 at Flint Road on Thursday, police said.

POSSESSION OF DRUGS:

Nicholas Correa, 21, of 859 Monterey St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of suspected methamphetamine, a felony, possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and possession of an illegal dagger concealed under the seat of his car, a felony, on Fourth Street at 10:37pm on Sunday, police said.

Jacklyn Irene Mullings, 20, of 751 San Juan Grade Rd. in San Juan Bautista, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of suspected methamphetamine, a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, in the 1700 block of Ladd Lane at 2:45pm on Friday, police said.

UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS:

A 16-year-old Hollister male was arrested by Hollister police at 9:10am on Saturday for being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, at Hazel Hawkins Hospital – where he was being treated for burns to his hands, police said.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:

Daniel Oliver Bernal, 30, a transient, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 1500 block of Cushman Street at 11:05am on Friday, police said.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Luisa Jessica Flores, 24, of 920 Marne Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 900 block of Marne Drive for domestic violence, a felony, after she allegedly pushed and punched a male she has a relationship with several times, police said.

VANDALISM:

Unknown suspects broke two windows at Staples office supply store on, causing $1,200 damage, and one window at Curves, causing $600 damage around 10:15am on Sunday, police said. Both businesses are located in the 1700 block of Airline Highway.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
