BURGLARY:

Unknown suspects broke into a bakery in the 200 block of Third Street in Hollister sometime between 6pm on Tuesday and 2am on Wednesday and stole the cash register with $600 in cash, police said.

DRUG POSSESSION:

Francisco Retiz, 37, of 470 Seventh St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of a glass pipe, a misdemeanor, in the 600 block of South Street at 6:55am on Wednesday, police said.

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON:

Clark Sweet, 20, of 1320 Terrace Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy, felonies, and vandalism, a misdemeanor, after he was seen driving down Calais Street around 9:40pm on Wednesday shooting paintballs at houses and cars, police said. Sweet allegedly shot a woman in the head with one of the paintballs but she was not injured, police said. Officers are searching for the other person in the car with Sweet at the time, police said.

POSSESSION OF AN ILLEGAL WEAPON:

Nicholas Ryan Sebastiano, 20, of 1220 Kimberly Ct. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at Fourth and Mapleton streets at 9:25pm on Wednesday for possession of a concealed double-edged knife under the seat of his car, a felony, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
