ATTEMPTED MURDER:
Jaime Baldenegro, 25, of 231 Gibson Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 1500 block of Clearview Drive at 11:15am on Tuesday for attempted murder, threats and assault with a deadly weapon, all felonies, police said. Baldenegro allegedly tried to stab his ex-girlfriend, strangle her and threatened to kill her sometime between Feb. 17 and Feb. 24, police said. She waited to report the incident because she was afraid, police said.
BURGLARY:
Unknown suspects broke into a storage shed at a residence in the 200 block of Hawkins Street in Hollister sometime between Feb. 28 and March 1 and stole a $1,500 paint sprayer, police said.
Unknown suspects smashed the window of a 1996 Nissan parked in the 900 block of Sunset Drive around 12:45pm on Tuesday and stole a $150 stereo and $25 blood pressure sleeve, police said.
CAR THEFT:
Unknown suspects stole a white 1988 Honda Accord from the Kmart parking lot around 9pm on Tuesday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
