DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Karrie McDonald, 34, of 1521 Bayberry St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 2300 block of Paradise Court in Hollister at 7:09pm on Sunday, police said.
Kevin Silva, 31, of 1235 Monterey St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 100 block of San Felipe Road at 2:07am on Saturday, police said.
Jorge Ornelas, 31, of 1200 Rancho Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, hit and run and being an unlicensed driver, misdemeanors, in the 900 block of Memorial Drive after he hit a parked car and left the scene at 8:49pm on Friday, police said.
ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON:
Three suspects attacked a 17-year-old Hollister male in the 400 block of Monterey Street at 11:30pm on Friday, beating and hitting the teen in the face with a rock, police said. The gang-related attack left the victim with swelling and bruises to his face and head and a chipped tooth, police said. An investigation is pending, police said.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
Israel Renteria, of San Jose, was arrested by Hollister police for domestic violence and parole violation, felonies, and being an unlicensed driver, a misdemeanor, at noon on Saturday in the 1200 block of Heather Glen Circle after he allegedly punched a woman in the face, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
