DOMESTIC ABUSE:
Jorge Pena, 30, of 1141 Jan Ave. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 12:28am on Monday for spousal battery, child abuse and giving false information to police, all misdemeanors, after he allegedly pushed a woman, chased a child and gave a fake name to officers, police said.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Jose Lopez, 34, of 848 Fremont Way in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence and being an unlicensed driver, misdemeanors, after he was pulled over for driving erratically in the area of Sunnyslope and Memorial at 1:30am on Monday, police said.
Jesse Vasquez, 33, of San Jose, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, during a traffic stop at Chappell Road and Memorial Drive at 1:35am on Sunday, police said.
Miguel Estrada, 19, of Watsonville, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence and being an unlicensed driver, misdemeanors, during a traffic stop in the 300 block of McCray Street at 11:47pm on Sunday, police said.
Andres Alcantar, 35, of 506 Line St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and a warrant, misdemeanors, after he crashed into a parked car in the 500 block of South Street at 10:45pm on Friday, police said.
Rosalea Popete, 46, of 300 McCarthy St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, during a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Street at 3:14am on Saturday, police said.
Hugo Carrillo, 43, of 711 A St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license, misdemeanors, during a traffic stop at Hawkins and East streets at 11:59pm on Saturday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
