DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Salvador Regalado Martinez, 60, of 8420 Lovers Lane in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Frazier Lake Road north of Shore Road at 4:37am on Thursday, police said.
Nanette Sue Steber, 40, of Soquel, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license from a prior DUI, misdemeanors, at Highway 129 and Highway 101 at 2:54am on Saturday, police said.
Dolores Tharon Ewing, 52, of Marina, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Highway 101 north of Highway 129 at 11:55am on Saturday, police said.
Carlos Mendoza Picazo, 35, of 3641 Old Hernandez Rd. in Paicines, was arrested by the CHP for driving under the influence, driving with an open container and driving on a suspended license, all misdemeanors, at Southside Road and Airline Highway at 5:50pm on Sunday, police said.
Mark William Mendez, 18, of 1840 Memorial Dr. in Hollister, was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana, a misdemeanor, at San Benito and Hawkins streets at 10:15pm on Thursday, police said.
n Holly Jessica Fennel, 21, of Gilroy, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 700 block of San Benito Street at 2:29am on Thursday, police said.
Mark Henri Koster, 41, of 1221 Sunnyslope Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 800 block of Meridian Street at 9:06pm on Thursday, police said.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
Carlos Vargas Garcia, 28, of 2800 Valley View Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 2800 Valley View Road at 11:05am for false imprisonment and domestic violence, felonies, and causing harm to a child, a misdemeanor, at 11:05am on Sunday, police said. Garcia allegedly grabbed a woman he had a relationship with, pushed her onto a bed and punched her in the face several times in front of two young children, police said. He allegedly would not let her leave the bedroom for two hours, police said.
Daniel R. Gallegos, 38, of 171 Casten Ct. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police in the 100 block of Casten Court at 5:35pm on Sunday for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon, felonies, for allegedly throwing a 4-pound jar of pennies at a woman he has a relationship with and injuring her back, police said.
POSSESSION OF DRUGS:
Francisco Ruiz, 31, of 291 Gonzalez Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies for being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, possession of suspected methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance for sale, felonies, on Central Avenue and Felice Drive at 12:30am on Thursday, police said.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC:
Mark DePonte, 35, a transient, was arrested by Hollister police for being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, and for a felony drug warrant after he was found walking in the middle of traffic in the 200 block of San Benito Street at 4:37pm on Saturday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
