Auto Theft

A 2000 Jaguar S-Type was stolen off the street in front of a residence between 9pm Sunday and 7:10am Monday in the 200 block of Gonzalez Drive in Hollister, the Hollister Police Department said. There are no suspects.

Vandalism

A brick was thrown through the window of a Honda and the bedroom window of a residence at about 2am July 26 in the 1100 block of Wilma Drive in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

Three tires of a car were slashed between 9pm July 19 and 11am July 20 in the 700 block of C Street in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

A wall in Dunne Park was spray-painted with gang signs at about 2:25pm Monday in the 600 block of Sixth Street in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

Grand Theft

Items from a GMC Sierra were stolen between 9pm Sunday and 6am Monday in the 900 block of San Benito Street in Hollister, police said. Taken were tools, electronics and clothes worth $2,215, police said. There are no suspects.

Burglary

A residence was entered between 7am and 4:30pm Monday in the 300 block of Recht Street in Hollister, police said. Taken were electronics and jewelry worth $3,450, police said. There are no suspects.

Attempted Burglary

A residence was entered at about 5:23pm Tuesday in the 800 block of Victory Drive in Hollister, police said. Officers found no one upon arrival, police said. There are no suspects.

Attempted Burglary

An 18-year-old Morgan Hill man was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of attempted burglary, a felony, and possession of burglary tools, a misdemeanor, after receiving a prowler call at 11:32am Monday in the 400 block of Primavera Drive in Hollister, police said. A man was attempting to enter a home with a window cutter in the backyard of the residence, police said.

Vandalism

A 30-year-old Fresno man was arrested by police on suspicion of vandalism, a misdemeanor, after responding to a call that a man had broken a window at about 10:38pm Monday in the 1000 block of Caputo Court, police said.

Vandalism and Assault

A 13-year-old Hollister girl was arrested by police on suspicion of vandalism, a misdemeanor, and assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, after officers responded to a disturbance call at 3pm Tuesday at the San Benito High School swimming pool in the 1200 block of Monterey Street in Hollister, police said. A girl hit a swimming pool staff member and broke the window of a vehicle, police said.
