Battery:

Ryan Patrick Kearns, 27, of the 900 block of Spring Grove Road in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of battery, a misdemeanor, when he allegedly punched a victim in the face at Johnny’s Bar at 1:51am on Nov. 23, police said.

Driving Under the Influence:

Joshua Dickerson, 18, of the 3000 block of Carey Way in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, when his car bumped a parked car at 50 San Tropez Drive at 1:38am Sunday, police said.

Drunk in Public:

Stanley David Recht, 21, of the 800 block of Mica Court in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, when police found him on Sixth Street allegedly too intoxicated to care for himself at 1:47am Nov. 23, police said.

Silviano Ortega-Martinez, 23, of the 1000 block of Sunnyslope Road, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, when police found him walking down Hillcrest Road allegedly too intoxicated to care for himself at 5:09am Tuesday, police said.

Illegal Weapon:

Jose Santos Lopez, 26, of Hollister, was arrested by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Department on suspicion of possession of an illegal weapon, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, when deputies stopped him for a routine traffic violation on Maple Street and San Benito Street at 1:15am Nov. 23, deputies said. Upon searching the vehicle deputies found a double-edged knife and a methamphetamine pipe, deputies said.

Domestic Violence:

Manuel Louis Carrillo, 20, of Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of domestic violence, a felony, and damaging a telephone line, a felony, after he ripped a telephone out of a wall and threw a woman to the ground at 10:40pm Monday, police said.

David John Sieling, 42, of Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of domestic violence, a felony, after he pushed a woman, causing her minor injuries on Tuesday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
