Burglaries

Burglars used an unlocked door or window to enter a church in the 400 block of Seventh Street in Hollister between 4pm Tuesday and 8:45am Wednesday, the Hollister Police Department said. Burglars took $51 worth of stamps and CDs from the church office, police said. There are no suspects.

Burglars attempted to use a pry-bar and chisel to open the window of a church in the 600 block of Monterey Street in Hollister between 10:05pm and 11:49pm Wednesday, police said. There are no suspects

Burglars broke the driver side window of a car parked in the 400 block of Tres Pinos Road in Hollister between 5 and 9pm Thursday, police said. A purse containing $400 in cash was taken, police said. A witness reported confronting a man holding a purse in the 1200 block of Rancho Drive in Hollister, police said. The man fled through apartments on Rancho Drive, police said. Authorities are seeking a 5-foot-6, 120-pound Hispanic male in his 30s, who was wearing a black shirt, black pants and had messy black hair, police said.

Vehicle Theft

Thieves stole a 1991 Honda Accord parked in front of a home in the first block of North Sally Street in Hollister between 10pm Wednesday and 7:57am Thursday, police said. There are no suspects.

Arrests

Weapon possession

Sean Michael Daudet, 21, of the 1000 block of Hillcrest Road in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of felony weapon possession and committing a felony while out on bail, after he was stopped on his bike in the 400 block of Line Street at 12:40am Thursday, police said. Daudet was in possession of “blackjack” gloves used for fighting, police said.

Paul Inocencio, 33, of Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of felony domestic violence after officers received a domestic dispute call at 1:45am Thursday, police said. Officers responding to the call determined that a woman had been hit in the face, causing a scratch and a bruise.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
