Burglaries

Burglars used a bedroom window to enter a home in the 400 block of Hawkins Street in Hollister between 10am and noon Monday, the Hollister Police Department said. Burglars took a camera worth $250, police said. There are no suspects.

Burglars used a window to enter a home in the 500 block of Nash Road in Hollister between 8:20am and 1:30pm Tuesday, police said. Burglars took jewelry and electronics valued at $2,000, police said. There are no suspects.

Vandalism

Vandals broke the driver side window of a 1999 Honda Civic in the 1200 block of Sunset Drive between 11:20pm Monday and 9am Tuesday, police said. There is no estimate of damage and there are no suspects.

Vehicle theft

Thieves stole a 1987 BMW parked in front of a house in the 1800 block of Hermosa Way in Hollister between 7pm Jan. 28 and 2pm Monday, police said. The car is worth $2,000, police said. There are no suspects.

Arrests

Domestic violence

Pedro Escamilla, 69, of Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department at 3:26pm Monday on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence after her pushed a woman into the side door of a house, police said.

Roberto Bravo Ornelas, 42, of Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of felony domestic violence at 10:58pm Tuesday after he grabbed a woman by her right arm and pulled her off a bed, leaving a red mark and causing soreness, police said.

Assault with a deadly weapon

Alberto Deleon, 20, of the 200 block of Ranchito Court, was arrested by police on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, at his home at 6:17pm Tuesday, police said. Deleon hit a 20-year-old Hollister man with a Toyota Camry after an argument in the 1900 block of Ponderosa Court at approximately 5:30pm Monday, police said. The man was trying to prevent Deleon from leaving when he was hit, police said. The man was airlifted to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center as a precaution with non-life-threatening head and back injuries, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
