Drunken driving:

Robert Parmenter, 25, of the 1800 block of Mimosa Street in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence with three prior convictions, a felony; driving with an open container, a misdemeanor; and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor, after being stopped for a traffic violation in the 500 block of East Street at 10:30pm Thursday, police said.

Shooting signs:

Vincent Miguel Sisneros, 19, of the 5500 block of Diablo Hills in Tres Pinos, was arrested by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of discharging a firearm in a gross negligent manner, a felony; destroying posted signs, a misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a misdemeanor; vandalism, a felony; and dumping matter on a highway, a misdemeanor; at the intersection of Quien Sabe and Santa Ana Valley roads at midnight Thursday, deputies said. Sisneros had been driving around with a friend earlier in the night shooting road signs with a 12-gauge shotgun and admitted so when questioned, deputies said. The arrest resulted from a witness’ call, deputies said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
