Vandals broke the window of a Ford van in the 2100 block of Glenview Drive in Hollister at approximately 11pm Thursday, according to the Hollister Police Department. Police estimated damage to be $250. There are no suspects.
Arrests:
Jose Miguel Rodriguez, 31, of the 700 block of Kirkpatrick Drive in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after being stopped for having tinted windows and an unlit rear license plate at the intersection of San Benito Street and Santa Ana Road at 12:45am Friday, according to the CHP.
Ernest James Salas, 39, of Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of felony domestic violence, after officers responded to a domestic dispute call at 2:42pm Thursday, police said. Salas pushed a woman, grabbed her and pulled her out of a bathroom, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
