William Michael Bravo, 32, of the 1000 block of S. Ridgemark Drive in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of illegal knife possession, a felony, after a traffic stop at 11:59pm Thursday at Line and B streets in Hollister, police said.
Public intoxication
Nicholas Jose Mendez Jr., 30, of the 1100 block of Sunnyslope Road in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of public intoxication, a misdemeanor, at 3am Friday in the 1500 block of Valley View Road in Hollister, police said.

Property was spray painted with the word ‘CIA’ between midnight and 10:24am Thursday at Park Street and Nolte Alley in Hollister, the Hollister Police Department said. There are no suspects.
Property was spray painted with the word ‘CIA’ at about 2pm Wednesday in the 1200 block of Nolte Alley in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.
Property was spray painted with the word ‘Sureño,’ the name of a criminal street gang at about 3:37pm Thursday in the 1100 block of Hillcrest Road in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
