Grand Theft
About $600 in cash was taken from a backpack left in Togo’s at 12:45pm Saturday in the 1700 block of Airline Highway in Hollister, the Hollister Police Department said. There are no suspects.
Battery
A 17-year-old Hollister girl was cited for fighting at San Andreas School at 9:30am Tuesday in the 100 block of Alvarado Street in Hollister, police said.

Driving Under the Influence
Gustavo Lopez Martinez, in the 300 block of Mapleton Avenue, 33, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of an open container, both misdemeanors, after a traffic stop at Tuesday in the 900 block of San Benito Street in Hollister, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
