Battery
A 51-year-old resident is suspected by police of slapping a 29-year-old Hollister man on his head June 13. The suspected assault happened in the 400 block of Primavera Drive. No arrests were made and the case has been forwarded to the San Benito County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges.
Burglary
Two dogs were reportedly stolen from the San Benito County Animal Shelter between June 14 and June 15. No further information on the burglary was available Monday before press time.
Vehicle theft
A Hollister man reported his 1989 Yamaha Jetski was stolen sometime between June 1 and June 15. According to a police report, the man had been storing the jet ski in the driveway of a friend’s house in the 100 block of North Sally Street when it was stolen. Anyone with information should call Hollister police at 636-4330.
