At 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, police received a call from a victim who
had a pistol pointed at her by a male suspect on the 1500 block of
Valley View Road. The two were having a discussion about some
property that was missing, which turned to an argument.
ARRESTS

Drunk in public, Hawkins Street

At 12:20 a.m. on Friday, a security guard on the 100 block of Hawkins Street called police to alert them to a drunk female. The guard called police because he thought there might be something wrong. Police arrived and determined that she could not take care of herself. The 47-year-old Hollister resident was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Exhibition of a firearm, Valley View Road

At 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, police received a call from a victim who had a pistol pointed at her by a male suspect on the 1500 block of Valley View Road. The two were having a discussion about some property that was missing, which turned to an argument. During the argument, the suspect pulled out a small firearm and pointed it at the victim. The male left after the incident. The case is still under investigation and police are still trying to identify the suspect.

Annoying repeat phone calls, Morning Glory Drive

At 11 a.m. on Thursday, a victim called police to report that she had been receiving harassing phone calls from a jail inmate at her residence near the intersection of Morning Glory Drive and Hillock Drive. The calls have been happening since the end of July and the case is still under investigation.

Grand theft, Capitola Drive

Between 4 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 a.m. on Thursday, an unknown suspect stole an unlocked vehicle on the 900 block of Capitola Drive. The suspect also took CDs and electronics that were in the vehicle.

Theft, Acacia Court

At 3 p.m. on Friday, an unknown suspect stole the license plates off of a car on the 100 block of Acacia Court. No suspect information was available.

Vehicle theft, Jacaranda Circle

Between 9 p.m. on Friday and 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, an unknown suspect stole a vehicle from the front of a residence on the 1700 block of Jacaranda Circle.

Vandalism, Line Street

Between 9 p.m. on Saturday and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, someone reported to police that there was new graffiti on the sidewalk and on an apartment building on the 900 block of Line Street. No suspect information was available.
