Police blotter: Several drunk in public tickets issued

Around 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, victims filed a complaint with
police from the 600 block of Gabriele Court regarding a stolen
credit card. Police said that the victims filed the report against
their son’s girlfriend, who had stolen one of their credit cards
and some jewelry.
ARRESTS

First-degree burglary, Gabriele Court

Around 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, victims filed a complaint with police from the 600 block of Gabriele Court regarding a stolen credit card. Police said that the victims filed the report against their son’s girlfriend, who had stolen one of their credit cards and some jewelry. An officer contacted the 21-year-old female suspect and the officer found the stolen jewelry in her vehicle. She was arrested and booked into the county jail. The case is pending further investigation and was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.

Battery on person, Palm Court

At 4:37 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the 900 block of Palm Court for a domestic dispute. A 28-year-old Hollister man got into an argument over finances with his female roommate who recently moved here with the suspect and his wife. During the argument, the suspect pushed the female roommate while her 17-month-old child was at her feet. The suspect was arrested for battery and child endangerment and booked into the county jail.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Vehicle theft, McCarthy Street

At 6:13 p.m. on Sunday, a daughter took her mother’s vehicle without permission from their residence on the 300 block of McCarthy Street. The daughter later returned the vehicle but her mother wanted to seek prosecution. The case is still pending contact with the suspect and police said the case will probably be forwarded to the San Benito County District Attorney’s Office.

Forgery, Industrial Drive

At 4:28 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report of a forged check at Downtown Automotive on the 800 block of Industrial Drive. An unknown suspect paid for services to his vehicle with a check that was later determined to be from a canceled bank account. The name on the check also did not match the name of the customer. Police only know the name of the man at this time because the full report has not been submitted.

Exhibit a deadly weapon – not a firearm, Seventh Street

At 6:12 p.m. on Wednesday, a victim reported that an unknown suspect tried to punch him while he was at Dunne Park on the 500 block of Seventh Street. The victim also reported that two days earlier, the same suspect was brandishing a machete. No suspect information was available.

Vehicle Theft, Maple Street

At 2:30 p.m. on June 13, a utility trailer was stolen from the driveway of a residence on the 200 block of Maple Street. No suspect information was available.
