Grand theft

A cardboard box with $650 left outside was taken at 11:30am Thursday in the 200 block of Skyline Drive in Hollister, the Hollister Police Department said. There are no suspects.

Residential burglary

A home was entered through an unlocked garage door at about 10:30am Thursday in the 400 block of Adrian Court in Hollister, police said. Bottles of tequila, a camera worth $300, a Louis Vuitton bag worth $300 and jewelry worth $800 were taken, police said. There are no suspects.

Hate crime

A note was found on a man’s car at 11am Thursday in the 1900 block of Clearview Drive in Hollister, police said. The note contained an expletive and a racial slur, and was signed “from your neighborhood nazis,” police said. There are no suspects.

Arrests

Drunk in public

Christian Michael Barrera, 29, of La Selva Beach, Calif., was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, after finding a man who’d urinated himself passed out on the median at 9:30pm Wednesday at Tres Pinos Road and Airline Highway in Hollister, police said.

Driving under the influence

Robert Henry Rose, 27, of the 900 block of Bonnie View Road in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after responding to a call of a drunken driving in at 10:44pm Wednesday in the 300 block of McCray Street in Hollister, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
