Driving Under the Influence:
n Gilberto Dominguez, 27, of the 1000 block of McClosky Drive in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a felony, and driving without a license, a misdemeanor, in the 600 block of San Felipe Road at 6:25pm Tuesday, police said. Dominguez was stopped for a traffic violation, police said.
n Plutarco Ruiz, 44, of the 100 block of Fourth Street in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor, at 12:20am Friday, the CHP said. Ruiz was stopped by the Sheriff’s Department at the San Benito Street and Hawkins Street intersection and handed over to the CHP for further action, the CHP said.
Shots Fired:
n A vehicle on Line Street was hit by gunfire at 8:24am Thursday, police said. But because witnesses were uncooperative, police could not gather sufficient evidence, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
