ARRESTS

Battery, vehicle tampering and petty theft, Gabriele Court

At 12:10 a.m. Friday, police responded to multiple calls of two subjects rummaging through unlocked cars in the 600 block of Gabriele Court. Upon arrival, police were able to detain a male Hollister juvenile who was running toward police. Witnesses identified the suspect and police discovered he had stolen property. He was arrested and booked into juvenile hall. The second subject fled from the scene but not before he bit one of the victims.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Vandalism, Beverly Drive

At 11 a.m. Thursday, police received a complaint of spray paint on a utility box near the intersection of Beverly Drive and Hillcrest Road. No suspect information was available.

Burglary, Tres Pinos Road

At 8 p.m. Wednesday, two subjects walked into Safeway in the 500 block of Tres Pinos Road and tried to steal some beer. Store employees detained the subjects but through witness statements, it was determined only one of the Hollister juveniles took the beer. He was cited and released.

Battery, Meridian Street

At 12 p.m. Tuesday, a fight broke out at Marguerite Maze Middle School in the 900 block of Meridian Street. Police said the fight broke out after the suspects were insulting each other. School officials broke up the fight and no injuries were reported. The case was referred to the probation department.
