At 6:06 p.m. on Thursday, two suspects entered Pancho’s
Restaurant on the 200 block of Fourth Street, ordered $16 worth of
food, ate and left without paying. One of the suspect asked the
waitress for her phone number and upon leaving, left his name and
phone number behind for the waitress. No other information was
available.

ARRESTS

Drunk in public, East Street

At 9:55 p.m. on Sunday, a 40-year-old Hollister man started a fight with another bar patron at Aqua Azul on the 800 block of East Street. Police were called to the bar and the suspect was found to have objective signs of being under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Drunk in public, San Benito Street

At 12:43 p.m., a 31-year-old transient was walking down the middle of the 100 block of San Benito Street. Officers stopped him and arrested him for being drunk in public and endangering himself by walking down the middle of the street. He was booked into the county jail.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Vandalism, Primavera Drive

At 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, a suspect was throwing bricks at a vehicle on the 300 block of Primavera Drive. The suspect broke the windshield of one car with a brick and threw another brick, hitting the same vehicle. The second brick bounced off and damaged another car. No suspect information was available and the case has been forwarded to the district attorney’s office.

Burglary, Hawkins Street

At 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, an unknown suspect walked into the 7-11 on the 900 block of Hawkins Street, grabbed a case of beer and walked out without paying. Police said that they only have a clothing description and an estimated age of the suspect of 18.

Shooting into an inhabited dwelling, Locust Street

At 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, two unknown suspect fired two shots into a residence on the 300 block of Locust Street. Police said they have no suspect information and the suspects are still at large.

Fighting in public, Rustic Street

At 4:05 p.m. on Thursday, a mother called the police and reported her son was beat up. Police responded to the intersection of Rustic Street and Sierra Court and interviewed the male Hollister juvenile. The son was uncooperative and said the injuries resulted from playing full-contact football with no pads. Later, the juvenile reported to police that he was fist-fighting with another juvenile and someone came up and punched him from behind. No other suspect information was available.

Defrauding an innkeeper, Fourth Street

Offensive words, McCray Street

At 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, a victim reported a suspect used foul language and obscene gestures towards her and her daughter on the 200 block of McCray Street. No suspect information was available.
