CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Vandalism, Maple Street

Police investigated a call from a Hollister resident at 4:12 a.m. Tuesday that a mailbox at the Hollister Post Office had been vandalized. Reports indicate that the doors had been damaged on the large standing mailbox and the contents disturbed. It is unclear from the report whether anything was stolen.

Battery, Meridian Street

Police responded at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday to Maze Middle School in the 900 Block of Meridian Street to reports that a fight was taking place. When they had arrived, the fighters had fled the scene.

ARRESTS

Assault, Cushman Street

Police responded to Gold’s Gym at 1500 Cushman St. at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday in response to a report that a juvenile had been assaulted. Their investigation revealed that a suspect had struck the juvenile, and then kicked him after he fell. The assaulter was also a juvenile Hollister resident. He was arrested and booked into juvenile hall.
