in, police said. Tools and CDs were taken, police said. There are

A residence was entered at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Homestead Avenue in Hollister, police said. The back door was kicked in, police said. A Play Station 2 video game console, shoes, video games and a gold bracelet were taken, police said. There are no suspects.
Forcible entry
A 37-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of forcible entry, driving under the influence and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, all misdemeanors, and illegal weapon possession, a felony, after a traffic stop at 2 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Fifth Street in Hollister, police said. An hour earlier, a woman told authorities an ex-boyfriend had broken in to her residence to speak with her and left, police said. During the traffic stop, officers found a club, police said.
