At 2 p.m. on Saturday, a 22-year-old Hollister male was caught
shoplifting movies and compact discs from Kmart on the 400 block of
Tres Pinos Road. The suspect was caught by store security who
immediately called the police. He was arrested and booked into the
county jail.

Theft, Tres Pinos Road
At 2 p.m. on Saturday, a 22-year-old Hollister male was caught shoplifting movies and compact discs from Kmart on the 400 block of Tres Pinos Road. The suspect was caught by store security who immediately called the police. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.
Threaten crime, Clearview Drive
At 10 p.m. on Saturday, a suspect caused a disturbance at a victim’s residence on the 1900 block of Clearview Drive. Police report that the two had been talking on the phone and the suspect threatened the victim. Shortly thereafter, the suspect showed up at the residence and caused a disturbance, which prompted the police to be called. Authorities spoke with the suspect and through their initial investigation determined that the 31-year-old Hollister man was the one who was made the threats. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.
CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS
Battery, Line Street
At 4 p.m. on Sunday, three people were talking outside of a residence on the 1200 block of Line Street when a van pulled up and several Hispanic males in their late teens or early 20s got out of the van. After a dispute, the suspects from the van attacked one of the three men and quickly left the scene. Police said the victim sustained a facial injury. No further suspect information was available and the case is still under investigation.
First-degree robbery, South Street
At 1 a.m. on Thursday near the intersection of South Street and Sally Street, two males victims were chased by seven to eight Hispanic males. When the group caught up with the victims, they demanded money and the two gave them the small amount they had. After the incident, everyone fled the scene. There were no reported injuries and no other suspect information was available.
Embezzlement, Shelton Drive
At 1 p.m. on Friday, police got a call from Razzolink on 1500 block of Shelton Drive regarding an ex-employee who was refusing to return his work tools. The known suspect still has yet to be contacted by police.
Forgery, Industrial Drive
At 3:30 p.m. on Friday, someone from TSK Drywall on the 800 block of Industrial Drive filed a report with police about a forged check. The original incident occurred in Dec. 2005 when an unknown suspect forged a payroll check.
