Just after 6:30 a.m. Friday, police reported a vehicle break-in
in the 100 block of Rustic Street. The homeowner woke up and found
his vehicle’s driver-side front window was smashed and his stereo
system was taken. Police have no witnesses or any leads.

Just after 6:30 a.m. Friday, police reported a vehicle break-in in the 100 block of Rustic Street. The homeowner woke up and found his vehicle’s driver-side front window was smashed and his stereo system was taken. Police have no witnesses or any leads.

Petty theft, Alder Street

Police reported stolen medication at noon Friday from a vehicle parked on the 1200 block of Alder Street. The owner said the prescription drugs were taken from his vehicle sometime between Sunday and Thursday. The vehicle showed no signs of forced entry and police have so suspects.

Burglary, Rustic Street

At 1:30 p.m. Friday police reported a home break-in on the first block of Rustic Street. The homeowner returned home and discovered someone had gone through his house but there was no forced entry. The owner reported a bag of coins and $20 in cash was taken. Police have no witnesses or suspects.

Burglary, First Lane Street

Between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, police reported a home burglary of items with a $4,500 value near the 500 block of First Lane Street. The homeowner returned from work at 5:30 p.m. and found his house’s side door was kicked in. The suspects took 50 rings that valued $3,000 and a laptop. Police have no suspects or witness but do have lots of evidence.

Possession, East Street

At 12:30 a.m. Saturday, officers near the intersection of Fifth and East streets were getting into their patrol car when a car drove by with broken tail and headlights. Officers attempted to pull over but as they were pulling over a 25-year-old male bolted from the car. Officers chased and caught the suspect in Fremont Alley. The suspect had a warrant for his arrest and when he was patted down officers found a substance that resembled methamphetamine and a smoking pipe. The suspect was taken into custody but the other suspects inside the car fled the scene.

Burglary, San Juan Drive

At 11:50 a.m. Saturday, officers reported a house break-in near the 200 block of San Juan Drive. The suspect entered the house through a bedroom window. The homeowners reported a MP3 player, television, cell phone and jewelry among the times stolen. Police have no suspects or witnesses.

Forgery, Tres Pinos Road

Around 1 p.m. Saturday, a teller from a bank on Tres Pinos reported someone trying to deposit a fake check. The person was given the check by a friend who asked if he could deposit the check and get the money, according to police. The person deposited the check and gave the money to his friend but the check was fake. The police are currently investigating.

Petty Theft, Airline Highway

At 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Target on Airline Highway, police responded to a woman stealing items. The woman collected pet food and toys before trying to walk out the building’s exit. Security guards caught her before she left and was arrested by the police. The woman already has a prior theft conviction.

Battery, Gabriele Court

At 1 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Gabriele Court, officers responded to a large fight in the area. When officers arrived they found a man and woman who had facial injuries from a fight. The two were drunk and couldn’t coherently state what happened. Officers found no other people with injuries but police are still investigating.

Burglary, Trente Court

Officers reported a vehicle break-in that took place between 12:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Trente Court. The owner discovered her vehicle’s windows were smashed and an MP3 player and $35 were taken. Police have no witnesses or suspects.

Vandalism, South Street

At 11 a.m. Sunday, officers arrested two juveniles in the 1500 block of South Street. The juveniles, ages 13 and 15, were caught breaking the windows from a group of cars in Brocco’s Towing and Transport. The two teens caused $1.000 worth of damage and they were both were arrested by police.

Battery, Westside Boulevard

At 8:30 p.m. Sunday, police reported a fight between three females in the 1000 block of Westside Boulevard. The victim reported two friends attacked her after she talked with one of their boyfriends. Police are still investigating.
