Hollister police officers are investigating a recent stabbing in Hollister, according to a statement from police.
It was reported at about 9 p.m. July 12 when Hollister police were called to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital for a report of a 17-year-old male in the emergency room with stab wounds.
That victim was transported to a Bay Area hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Officers initially responded to Hazel Hawkins, though, and discovered the beating and stabbing occurred 15 to 30 minutes prior in front of Little Caesar’s located on McCray Street, according to police.
Police said the victim did not cooperate but that witnesses saw two males, ages 17 to 20, attack the victim while he had been waiting for friends in the pizza business.
The two suspects fled the area when confronted by witnesses. The only description is that they were Hispanic males wearing white T-shirts.
