Hollister police need the public’s help in identifying a suspect from a burglary last Friday at the Community Food Bank building on San Felipe Road.
According to a Hollister police statement:
On October 13th, 2014 just after midnight, Hollister Police Department officers responded to Community Pantry in the 1100 block of San Felipe Rd. in regards to a burglary alarm. Subsequent investigation revealed that an unknown suspect forced entry in to warehouse at that location and stole items.
Just after midnight on October 13th, 2014, SCR-911 dispatched Hollister Police officers to the Community Pantry warehouse in the 1100 block of San Felipe Rd. in regards to a burglary alarm activation. Responding officers located an open door to the side of the business and searched the interior. No one was found inside the business, but subsequent investigation revealed an additional door that had been forced open on the opposite side of the business. It is unclear at this time what, if any items were taken.
Through the course of the investigation, officers reviewed surveillance video from inside the business. The subject pictured above is the suspect in this case, but is yet to be identified. The Hollister Police Department is seeking the help of the public in identifying this subject.
It is also possible that this suspect is related to an attempted vehicle theft earlier in the evening in the 400 block of San Felipe Rd., and possibly a vehicle theft reported later on San Felipe Rd. in an unincorporated part of San Benito County.
