Hollister – Police are searching for two suspects who attempted to rob and sexually assault a Hollister woman behind the social services building on San Felipe Road Friday night.

A 24-year-old maintenance worker was taking out the garbage behind a county building located at 1111 San Felipe Road around 9pm Friday when a white male juvenile and an approximately 25-year-old Hispanic male grabbed and attempted to rob and sexually assault her, according to Hollister Police Detective Sgt. James Weathers.

While the teenager restrained the woman from behind and kissed her on the neck, the Hispanic male ordered her in Spanish to give him her car keys or he would kill her, Weathers said.

When the woman told the men she didn’t have a car, the Hispanic man grabbed her by the throat and said, “I think I wanna have a good time, now,” Weathers said.

At that moment a car drove into the opposite side of the large parking lot and the men ran off, Weathers said.

The woman tried to run into the building, but was unable to get back inside and eventually flagged down a motorist driving on San Felipe Road, Weathers said.

The person drove her home and the woman and her husband contacted police a short time later, Weathers said.

The teenager is described as a white male, 13 to 14 years old, with short brown hair and approximately 5-feet 7-inches tall with a heavy build, Weathers said. He also has a three-quarter-inch scar over his left eyebrow, which is pierced with a metal hoop and has two silver-colored balls attached to it.

The Hispanic male is also about 5-feet 7-inches tall with a thin build, short brown hair and a goatee, Weathers said.

Anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Hollister Police Department at (831) 636-4330.
