Raymond Perez died peacefully at home in Hollister on November 3, 2006 at the age of 59 years. Ray received masters degrees in Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering from UCLA. Prior to moving to the Bay Area to work for Northrop Grumman for the past two decades.

Ray owned and operated Engineering, Analysis and Test Company in Southern California. Ray enjoyed reading, riding his horses and traveling.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Ann L. Phillips of Hollister, daughter Anna Perez Ware of Oxnard, parents Celestine and Romeo Perez of San Antonio, Texas, sisters; Christina Perez of Hollister, Mary Margaret Perez of Aptos, Yvonne Miller of Rancho Palos Verdes; brother Michael Perez of Oxnard and many wonderful colleagues and friends.

Ray’s sense of humor, his intellect, and leadership will be missed. As per his request, arrangements were made for private cremation and inurnment through Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory, 870 San Benito St., Hollister 95023.

Donations are preferred to the Scott Arzie Memorial Fund, c/o the mortuary chapel.
