Arbor Week poster contest

In conjunction with Arbor Week coming up March 7-14, third, fourth and fifth grade students throughout California are invited to participate in the California Arbor Week Poster Contest.

Titled, “Growing Happy Communities,” the contest is designed to increase students’ knowledge of the important roles of trees and the many benefits they provide to our communities, according to a press release. Winners will be featured at the State Fair in Sacramento, which takes place July 12-29. Entries are due by Feb. 1.
