The Hollister Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are offering rewards for information on the Dollar Tree arson from more than a year ago, according to the Hollister Police Department.
ATF is offering a $3,000 reward for information, while the police department’s anonymous reporting partner—WeTip—will offer another $1,000.
They are offering the rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the December 2013 fire at the former Dollar Tree store on Tres Pinos Road.
The fire reported shortly after 5 a.m. Dec. 8 of 2013 did significant damage to Dollar Tree, Larry’s Liquors and Neighborhood Pizza. The building is still in the reconstruction phase.
“It comes to a point where they’ve exhausted leads and are now asking for the help from the public,” Hollister Police Chief David Westrick said of the ATF probe.
Look back for more.
