Robert Cirelli passed away at Hazel Hawkins Hospital on Jan. 13th at the age of 71 years. A native of New York, Bob has lived in San Benito County for 42 years. He was a graduate of James Lick High School in San Jose and was a self employed building contractor for 45 years. An outdoorsman at heart, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and team roping throughout Central California, as well as at the Bolado Park Fairgrounds. Besides being a farmer and orchardist, he enjoyed gardening around his home in Tres Pinos in his later years. Bob is survived by his children and their spouses, Cheryl and Tom Larios; Caryn and Mike Paidl; and Mark and Kim Cirelli, all of Hollister; his grandchildren Tracey Paidl, Tony Larios, Megan and Brandon Cirelli; great grandchildren Taryn Lavender and Jacob Larios; his sisters Marion Tedrow, spouse Bob; and Linda Artlett, spouse Jim of San Jose; his former wife Barbara Corona of Hollister; many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, and his dog Max.

Friends are invited to a Celebration of Bob’s Life on Thursday, Jan. 17th at 11:00 A.M. at the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Private cremation will have been held. Memorials are preferred to Hazel Hawkins Hospital Foundation, c/o the mortuary chapel.
