Robert “Bob” Earl Pauley passed away at the age of 68 here in Hollister last Monday, Sept. 20.

He was born in Aurora, Colo. on Oct. 10, 1935. Bob had lived in Hollister for the past four years after moving from San Jose where he had lived for 38 years. He was a program systems analyst for Lockheed Aerospace in Sunnyvale for over 30 years and had been with Boeing in Washington prior to that.

The husband of Lebra Pauley of Hollister; father of Russ Pauley and wife Liz of Tracy, Debra Swinfard of San Jose, Rick Pauley and wife Gail of Texas, Randy Pauley wife Kati of Gilroy, Rob Pauley and wife Irma of Tracy and Rodrick Pauley of San Jose; grandfather of Mark, Scott, Ashley and Eric Pauley all of Tracy, Tiffany and Tianna Swinfard of San Jose, Lauren and Ryder Pauley of Gilroy, and Wade and Heather Pauley of Tracy; brother of Bill Pauley of New Mexico, John Pauley of Danville, Wayne Pauley of San Jose, Jackie Robinson of Colorado, Florence Boyer of Southern California and the late George Pauley; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 1pm Saturday, October 2 at the family ranch, 3171 Meadow Lane, Hollister.

Any gifts or memorials may be made in memory of Robert “Bob” Pauley’s name to Lynbrook High school Athletic and Music Dept., C/O Linda Nichols, 1280 Johnson Ave., San Jose, 95129.

Funeral and cremations arrangements were under the direction of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister.
