Robert Hopkins passed away in Maui, HI at the age of 52. He and his wife, Kathy, honeymooned in Maui and returned to celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary in a place they loved. Robert was born in San Jose, CA and had lived in Hollister since 1989. His two children were his pride and joy. Robert loved fishing, camping and working in his garden, not to mention the game of baseball. He loved everything about the sport and was involved in every aspect, from following the Atlanta Braves, serving on the Board of Hollister Little League and Babe Ruth, coaching at every level along the way, and mostly being an avid fan at his son’s games.

Robert is survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Tracy, son Nathan, brothers and sisters – Joe Hopkins, George Hopkins, Ingrid Turner, Norm Hopkins and Lisa Tripp, in addition to a large extended family and great friends.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Robert’s life. Donations are preferred to the American Heart Association.
