A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Bob’s life will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 12:00 P.M., at Gilroy Golf Course, 2695 Hecker Pass Rd, Gilroy, CA after which a lunch will be served.
Robert J. Connelly, 67 of Aurora, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013, at his home. He was born June 20, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN.
Robert was employed by the City of Gilroy for 29 years, most recently as director of Community Services until his retirement in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Connelly; two sons Coley (Alisa) Connelly of Geneva, IL and Kevin Connelly of Aurora; his granddaughter Cade Connelly and his grandson Brady Connelly. Survivors also include his mother-in-law Doris Mulcady; sister-in-law Susan Connelly and by two nephews Scott and Brian Connelly.He was preceded in death by his parents Yvonne and Robert Connelly; one brother Tim Connelly and by his father-in-law George Mulcady.
