Hollister resident
Robert LeRoy Griffey died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at his home in Hollister. He was 31.
Mr. Griffey was born in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Hollister from Sunnyvale nine years ago. He worked as a copier technician for American Business Equipment. He and his wife, Mary Ellen Griffey, were married in 1997 in Hollister.
He is survived by his wife; his son, Brandon LeRoy Griffey of Hollister; his parents, Robert and Kathleen Griffey of Sunnyvale; and his sister, Jamie Logan of Medford, Ore.
A celebration of his life wil be held Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Cremation will be followed by private inurnment.
Memorials are preferred to a trust fund to benefit Mr. Griffey’s son.
