Morgan Hill resident Ronald Anthony “Tony” King died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 in Dinuba. He was 45.

Mr. King was born in Nashville, Tenn. and had lived in Lincoln Park, Mich. for 10 years before coming to California 22 years ago. He worked as a groundwater remediator for the past six years and was also the drummer for the band Shakedown. He was a member of the Morgan Hill Volunteer Fire Department and Flycasters, Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Marie King of Morgan Hill; his children, Eddie King and Emily King, both of Morgan Hill; his parents, Edward and Margaret King of Lincoln Park, Mich.; his brothers and sisters, Judy Redmer, Charlie King, Robert King and Linda Sluder, all of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. The Rev. John Amelio of Glad Tidings Church in San Juan Bautista officiated.

Memorials are preferred to a trust fund for Mr. King’s children, in care of Marie King, Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister, CA 95023.
