Ronald Wichman died Wednesday morning, March 3 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. He was 79.
He was born in Green Bay, Wisc., and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post 9677 in Green Bay. He had come to Hollister from Green Bay to be with his daughter and had been here less than a year on this visit.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dale Wichman, who died in 2003, and is survived by his children Jan Read of Hollister, Danny Wichman of Orem, Utah and Sue Sulewski of Toledo, Ohio.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held in Green Bay with interment and military rites at Nicolet Memorial Gardens in Scott, Wisc.
Local arrangements are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister.
