after a long illness.
Rosemary Lampe, 56, of Hollister died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004 at The Willliam and Inez Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility in Hollister after a long illness.
Rosemary Pelt Lampe was born Aug. 26, 1947 in New York. Her family later moved to Tacoma, Wash. where she graduated from high school.
She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore.
She married Patrick Lampe on Feb. 8, 1969. They raised two children in the Bay Area, finally settling in Hollister.
Rosemary worked as a training manager in the software field with Share Data, Inc and E*Trade Financial, Inc. in Silicon Valley. She enjoyed camping, traveling, needlework, spending time with family, especially her grandson, and was a voracious reader. She will be most remembered for always having a smile and a laugh to share.
She is survived by her husband Patrick Lampe of Hollister; her daughter Beth Lampe Cadigan, son-in-law, Devin and grandson, Nathan of Olympia, Wash.; son Jonathan and son-in-law Scot McKee of Portland, Ore.; sister, Diane Hedrick of Cove, Ore.; and numerouos family members in Georgia, Washington, California, Montana, Maryland and Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Claude Pelt and Florence Pelt Trujillo.
A celebration of her life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister. A reception for family, friends and acquaintances will follow the services at the family home.

Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory in Hollister.
