Roy Greenough passed away in San Jose. He was born in Wellingford, England and lived in Hollister for 18 years coming here from Gilroy. He and his wife, Magdalena, were married in 1964 in Gilroy. He was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Benedict Church, The Teamsters Union and liked all sports, especially golf and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Magdalena Greenough of Hollister, his children and their spouses, Barbara and Denny Pacheco of Soledad, Carl Greenough of Hollister, Joanne and Richard Beltran of Hollister and Susan and John Finister of Hollister, his sister, Janice Primeau of Union, MO and his granchildren, Amanda Pacheco, Jessica Navarro, Monica Pacheco, Christopher Greenough, Vanessa Beltran, Richard Beltran and Avianka Finister, and his faithful buddy, “G”, his dog.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, Dec. 4th at 11:00 AM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Rev. Rudy Ruiz of Sacred Heart Church will officiate.

Cremation will be followed by private family inurnment.
