Hollister Police located a runaway teen that had been missing since before Christmas, police said Monday.

Hollister resident Lindsay “Nicole” Guilford, 16, was found at the 7-Eleven on San Benito Street on Friday, Jan. 2, around 4 p.m., said Detective Tony Lamonica.

“An anonymous caller said she’d be there,” Lamonica said. “Several people had also called in and said they’d seen her around town.”

Guilford, who had been missing since Monday, Dec. 22, had run away after she had an argument with her mother, Lamonica said.

When she was questioned by police she confirmed that she had not been abducted or sexually assaulted in any way, Lamonica said.

Guilford, a student at San Benito High School, was released to her parents after the police interviewed her, Lamonica said.

“I don’t think she was ready to go home, though,” he said.

Police are still looking for Heriberto “Eddie” Bedolla, who allegedly shot a Hollister resident in his home several weeks ago.

“He is considered armed and dangerous,” Lamonica said.

Anyone with information pertaining to Bedolla’s whereabouts are asked to contact Detective Tony Lamonica at (831) 638-4115 at the Hollister Police Department.
