Sandra McMillen-Drew was born December 14, 1937 in Mount Auburn IL. She was raised in Mount Auburn and Decatur, IL, and moved to San Jose in 1954. She lived in Morgan Hill for 33 years. She later moved to Oakdale in 1999.
Sandra entered into rest surrounded by her beloved family in her Oakdale home on September 11, 2007, at age 69.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ron, stepfather Roy Bateman, two daughters and their husbands: Debra and Richard Torgersen and Cindy and Steve Kerr, four grandchildren: Laura Behl, Tamara Crabb, Gary Torgerson, & Ron A. Drew, and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Sharon Ybarra. She is predeceased by her son, Ronald W. Drew, mother, Doris Montgomery Bateman, and father George McMillen.
Sandra was devoted to her family and treasured those she loved.
Private family internment will be held at Los Gatos Memorial on Monday at 1:00 P.M.. Family request that donations be made to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356-9259.
