Sarah Padron passed away in Gilroy at the age of 74. She was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico and lived in Hollister since 1963. She married her husband, Richard, in 1963 in Las Vegas, NV. She was an active member of Sunnyslope Christian Center as a deaconess and very involved in church functions. She liked cooking, baking, canning and crocheting. She also liked birds and during her working life was involved in healthcare working at O’Connor Hospital and Hazel Hawkins Hospital and doing home healthcare.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Padron of Hollister, her son and his wife, Mark and Nanci Padron of Los Banos and Michelle Padron of Hollister, her sisters, Carmen Transvina of Mexicali, Mexico and Raquel Hernandez of Agua Calientes, Mexico and her 6 grandchildren, Kendra Moore, Kayne Boggeln, Kellin Boggeln, Dominic Padron, Hannah Padron and Eden Padron.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at Sunnyslope Christian Center, 1520 Sunnyslope Rd. Hollister. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. at the church. Interment services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
