A San Benito High School alum helped produce a film that will take the screen during the Carmel International Film Festival this weekend.
The show, called “Neither and Both,” is a 30-minute short film about a woman named Rachel Hunter who exposes men’s affairs by posing as a call girl. When Hunt graduates from simple seduction to corporate sabotage, the stakes get higher and she learns the greatest threat of all might be her own weakness.
Renee Sweet, a Baler from the class of 2000, is the executive producer and editor of the work filmed in Los Angeles.
The film will be presented at the seventh annual Carmel International Film Festival. Screenings will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Sunset Center Studio 105 and at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the JRS Theater, which is also called the Carmel Youth Center.
The film will also be screening at the Austin Film Festival the following week. To view the trailer, go here: bit.ly/1NWJWKp. For more information about the Carmel film festival, check out the group’s website: carmelfilmfest.com.
