Ohlone Theater Festival over the weekend.
San Benito High School students received top honors at the Ohlone Theater Festival over the weekend.
The school was in competition with almost 50 other schools from around the state. Fifty-six sophomore, junior and senior students from the SBHS drama and dance departments participated in the competition.
The students were in competition with hundreds of other students from around the state, and many of the students participating left the festival with prizes – marking the first trophies for drama or dance to win.
“It speaks very highly of them and their ability, so I’m very proud,” said Christina Plank, the drama teacher at San Benito High School.
